Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for a five southern Odisha districts with a forecast of heavy rainfall during the next 24 hours. These districts are: Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangapur, Rayagada, and Gajapati.
Similarly, thunderstorm with lightning warning has been issued for: Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nawarangapur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj districts, during the same period.
The Capital City – Bhubaneswar is likely to witness partly cloudy sky with possibility of moderate Rain or thunderstorm. Maximum and Minimum temperatures in the city is very likely to be around 37 degrees and 27 degrees Celcius respectively.
According to the IMD, rainfall or thundershowers is very likely to continue in several parts of the State.
