Bhubaneswar: Several parts of the State are very likely to witness one or two spells of heavy rainfall accompanied by thundershower on Saturday.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), at least 21 districts of Odisha are very likely to experience very heavy rainfall during the first half of the day.
A orange warning has been issued by the Met department in this regard. The IMD alert on the forecast extends over the next two to three hours till 10 am, reports stated.
“People are advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places.” The districts which are under watch for heavy rainfall today are:
Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Naygarh, Khurda, (Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (Cuttack city), Puri, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sundergarh, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Gajapati, and Ganjam.
