Heroic Act: RPF ASI’s Timely Intervention Saves Woman’s Life At Bhadrak Railway Station

Bhadrak: In a heart-stopping incident at Bhadrak Railway Station, an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Railway Police Force saved a woman’s life from coming under the wheels of a train while she was trying to board Sri Jagannath Express.

According to reports, a woman passenger identified as Janaki Rout fell onto the platform while trying to board the moving train at 1 am. Seeing it, RPF Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Manas Manik, who was on duty, sprang into action without delay and rescued her.

With lightning-fast reflexes, he pulled her to safety just in time, snatching her from the jaws of disaster. The dramatic rescue was captured on the station’s CCTV cameras, the footage showing the moment Janaki fell and Manik’s swift response. The video has since gone viral, with many hailing the officer as a hero.

Janaki, shaken but grateful, was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Fortunately, her injuries are not life-threatening, and she is reported to be stable.
