Jagatsinghpur: The Headmaster of Dabara High School under Naugaon police limits in Jagatsinghpur district was on Monday suspended from service and arrested for allegedly misbehaving with a girl student.
According to reports, Headmaster Rudra Prasad Swain, was arrested by Naugaon police, while he was suspended by the District Education Officer.
The action was taken after it was alleged that Headmaster Swain had engaged in inappropriate behavior with a minor student of the school.
Following an investigation by the Education department and the District Child Protection Unit, Swain was suspended and subsequently arrested.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
