Hit-And-Run In Sambalpur: 2 Killed, 1 Critically Injured

Bhubaneswar: A bike rider was seriously injured, and two pillion riders, including a minor girl, died in a hit-and-run accident in Sambalpur. The incident occurred when a speeding car hit the bike from the front and fled the scene.

The victims were identified as Payal Patel and a minor girl Mania, who died due to the accident, while the bike rider, Om Patel, is undergoing treatment in critical condition.  Payel died after falling off the bridge while the girl succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

According to reports, the trio, including a brother, sister, and minor daughter, were crossing the Durgapali Bridge when the accident occurred. The police have launched an investigation to identify and trace the vehicle involved.
