Holiday Homework Programme: S&ME Dept Launches Toll-Free Number For All Dists

Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view the learning needs of students from class I to X during the summer vacation, the School & Mass Education (S&ME) Department has directed for implementation of the Holiday Homework Programme from May 1.

For successful implementation of the programme, the Department has issued a standard operating procedure (SOP) to all districts and has directed for its strict adherence.

The Department has also opened a Help Desk Cell in every district for the Holiday Homework Programme. Four teachers including subject experts have been appointed in each centre to guide the students in their homework.

The Cell will remain operational on all working days from 6 am to 6 pm except holidays.

The Department has issued a toll-free number for the students to contact the help desk to clarify their doubts regarding homework by calling the number.

The toll-free numbers issued for various districts are 1800-345-7521 for Angul, 1800-345-6810 for Balasore, 1800-345-6807 for Bargarh, 1800-345-6811 for Bhadrak, 1800-345-6350 for Balangir, 1800-345-6350 for Boudh, 1800-345-3144, 1800-345-9534 for Cuttack, 1800-345-6806 for Deogarh, 1800-345-7522 for Dhenkanal, 1800-345-2387 for Gajapati, 1800-345-2386 and 1800-345-2385 for Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur 1800-345-9532, Jajpur 1800-345-9533, Jharsuguda 1800-345-6820, Kalahandi 1800-345-7982, for Kandhamal 1800-345-333, for Kendrapara 1800-345-9531, Keonjhar 1800-345-8285 for Khurda 1800-345-7662 for Koraput 1800-345-1707 for Malkangiri 1800-345-1703 for Mayurbhanj 1800-345-7563 and 1800-345-7562 for Nabarangpur 1800-345-7562 1710, Nayagarh 1800-345-7663, Nuapada 1800-345-7981, Puri 1800-345-7661, Rayagada 1800-345-1709, Sambalpur 1800-345-6821, Subaranapur 1800-345-6348, Sundargarh 1800-435-7479 and 1800-345-7480.
