Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view the learning needs of students from class I to X during the summer vacation, the School & Mass Education (S&ME) Department has directed for implementation of the Holiday Homework Programme from May 1.
For successful implementation of the programme, the Department has issued a standard operating procedure (SOP) to all districts and has directed for its strict adherence.
The Department has also opened a Help Desk Cell in every district for the Holiday Homework Programme. Four teachers including subject experts have been appointed in each centre to guide the students in their homework.
The Cell will remain operational on all working days from 6 am to 6 pm except holidays.
The Department has issued a toll-free number for the students to contact the help desk to clarify their doubts regarding homework by calling the number.
