Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted hot and humid weather condition is likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, and Gajapati during the next 24 hours. The weather agency has issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for these districts.
Besides, light to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Gajapati, Rayagada, Sundargarh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul, Koraput, Malkangiri and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha, the IMD added.
The weather agency has predicted that maximum temperature(day temperature) is likely to rise by 2-4°C during next 03 days and no large change thereafter at many places over the districts of Odisha.
The conditions continue to become favourable for Monsoon onset over Kerala during next 3-4 days, the weather agency added.
