Bhubaneswar: Housing & Urban Development (H&UD) Minister Usha Devi today directed departmental officials to start a 24×7 control room for the benefit of tourists during the period from Sri Gundicha Yatra to Niladri Bije in order to ensure maintenance of high standards of sanitation and cleanliness, uninterrupted drinking water supply and drainage arrangements.
Minister Usha Devi chaired a review meeting of the H&UD Department at the Works Department guest house in Puri today, said an official press release.
On the occasion, she visited the vehicle parking lot at Puri and inspected the work in progress. She directed the officials for the smooth conduct of various departmental works for the Rath Yatra.
