Bhubaneswar: Film director Jitu Raut has filed a complaint with Madhupatna police station in Cuttack demanding a thorough probe into the death of Odia singer Humane Sagar.
According to reports, the director has reportedly arrived at the police station with other artists to file a complaint. Raut named three associates of Humane Sagar, seeking an investigation into their role in the singer’s death.
In his complaint, Raut demanded a high-level probe into the financial dealings and medical treatment of Humane Sagar. The names of Humane’s manager, Prasant and Dinesh, have been mentioned in the FIR filed at the police station.
Raut alleged that the manager and team members prioritised their personal interests, misusing the singer’s earnings. He claimed the team had misappropriated funds earned by the deceased singer.
He alleged that there has been a large-scale financial embezzlement of Humane’s earnings, and the manager and team members have acted in their personal interests.
