**Keonjhar:** Following heavy rainfall, a 70-year-old man was killed while his wife sustained severe injuries after their house wall collapsed on them at Beusahi village under Anandpur police limits in the district here on Monday late night.
The deceased has been identified as Bhaskar Dehury.
The incident took place when Bhaskar (70) and his wife Tilottama (62) were asleep inside their house. One of the house walls collapsed on them due to incessant rain late last night.
The family members rushed the couple to Anandapur Sub-Divisional Hospital, but unfortunately Bhaskar was declared brought dead. His wife Tilottama is now undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, local police have reached the spot and started investigation into the incident.
