Parlakhemundi: Gajapati Superintendent of Police (SP) Sarah Sharma has come out in support of the action of the police in which all the four accused in the Hyderabad gang-rape and murder of a young veterinarian were killed in encounter.
“If we go through the preliminary reports, they were trying to escape and were killed in encounter. Since they have committed such grave crime there is no harm in killing them and circumstances were such and had the circumstances been different action could have been different by the police,” said Sharma.
“Under that circumstance in that place, that action would have appeared to the police as the right action. So there is nothing wrong in it. So whatever has happened is okay,” she added.
