I-T Officials Seize Rs 90 Lakh Cash From Sundargarh Liquor Trader Jaiswal

Sundargarh: Income Tax department officials have seized cash to the tune of Rs 90 lakh during raid on the house of liquor trader Raj Kishore Jaiswal.

The amount was confirmed by the Manager of the State Bank of India (SBI) Main Branch, Sundargarh Suvendu Acharya after counting of the seized currency notes was completed.

During counting at the SBI Main Branch here, it was found that the currency notes were in the denominations of 500, 200 and 100.

Raid by I-T department officials was still underway at liquor trader Jaiswal’s residence at the time of filing of this report.
