Bhubaneswar: In a minor Indian Administrative Service (IAS) reshuffle, the Odisha government has transferred and assigned new posts to five IAS officials in the state on Thursday.
NBS Rajput, a 1999-batch IAS officer, who was serving as the Principal Secretary to Governor, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Public Enterprises Department.
Temjenwapang Ao, a 2000-batch IAS officer, who has been serving as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Public Enterprises Department, has been appointed Special Secretary to Government,
Planning & Convergence Department.
Bhupendra Singh Poonia, a 2008-batch IAS officer, who has been serving as the Managing Director, IPICOL, with additional charge of Special Secretary to Government, Industries Department, and Managing Director, IDCO, has been given additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Skill Development & Technical Education Department,
A notification issued by the government today states that the additional appointment of NBS Rajput shall stand terminated from the date Poonia takes over.
Prem Chandra Chaudhary, a 2010-batch IAS officer, who has been serving as the Director, Agriculture & Food Production, Odisha, with additional charge of Managing Director, Odisha Agro Industries Corporation Limited, has been appointed Director, Textiles & Handlooms, Odisha.
