Bhubaneswar: In a reshuffle effected by the Odisha government in the IAS cadre on Saturday, Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary to Government in the Planning & Convergence Department 1989 batch IAS officer Pradeep Kumar Jena has been allowed to remain in additional charge of Agriculture Production Commissioner consequent upon relieving IAS officer Sanjeev Chopra from State Government with effect from October 31 forenoon, said a notification issued by General Administration & Public Grievance Department on Saturday.
Similarly, 1987 batch IAS officer Raj Kumar Sharma is appointed as Member,Board of Revenue consequent upon superannuation of IAS officer GVV Sarma with effect from October 31 afternoon. He has been allowed to remain in additional charge of Director General, Training Co-ordination, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar.
Besides, 1991 batch IAS officer Additional Chief Secretary to Government in the Revenue & Disaster Management Department Satyabrata Sahu has been allowed to remain in additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Odia Language, Literature & Culture Department consequent upon superannuation of IAS officer Madhu Sudan Padhi with effect October 31 afternoon.
Further, 1993 batch IAS officer Deoranjan Kumar Singh Principal Secretary to Government in the Steel & Mines Department has been allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government in the Home Department consequent upon relieving of IAS officer Sanjeev Chopra from State Government with effect from October 31 forenoon.
Moreover, 1996 batch IAS officer Saswata Mishra Principal Secretary to Governor, Odisha has been allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government in the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Department.
The notification said that additional appointment of IAS officer Satyabrata Sahu as Additional Chief Secretary to Government in the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Department shall stand terminated from the date IAS officer Saswata Mishra takes over.
Again, 2006 IAS officer Roopa Roshan Sahoo Special Secretary to Chief Minister has been allowed to remain in additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government in the ST & SC Development, M&BCW Department.
The additional appointment of IAS officer Saswata Mishra as Principal Secretary to Government, ST & SC Development, M&BCW Department shall stand terminated from the date IAS officer Roopa Roshan Sahoo takes over, the notification added.
