Bhubaneswar: The State Vigilance on Tuesday conducted searches on the premises of a Deputy Manager with IDCOL, Gaya Santara, in connection with a case of possession of assets disproportionate to (his) known sources of income.
As many as 7 teams led by as many Deputy SPs of the Vigilance carried out raids at different locations in Bhubaneswar, Koraput, Rayagada and Nayagarh in this connection.
According to the Vigilance, searches were underway at the following locations:
– Three storeyed building in Mancheswar Industrial Estate;
– Four storeyed building (under construction) in Jaydev Vihar, Bhubaneswar;
– Rented house located at Sunki gate in Koraput;
– Office chamber at Ampa Valli-Simagoda, Koraput;
– Business establishment – Global Engineers located at Sector-A, Zone-D, Mancheswar Industrial Estate;
– Paternal house at Patna Sahi, Komanda, Odagaon in Nayagarh district; and
– In-laws house at Paika Street, Muniguda Dist- Rayagada.
“We will come up with the DA amount in this case once the searches and estimation work is over,” a Vigilance official said.
