IED Blast In Saranda Forest Leaves Jawan Seriously Injured

Bhubaneswar: A jawan was injured as an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded in the Saranda forest near Babudara under Chhotanagra police station.

The injured jawan, identified as Manoj Damai, belongs to the Jharkhand Jaguar force.

According to reports, the blast took place while the jawan was engaged in a search operation in the forest. Damai has been seriously injured and has been airlifted to Ranchi for medical treatment.

Notably, the Jharkhand Jaguar and CRPF 60 Battalion jawans had seized 18,000 detonators from the same forest area just a day before the blast.
