**Sambalpur: ** Anant Milind Kulkarni, a marketing student of IIM Sambalpur (IIM-S) has been offered a whopping salary package of Rs 60 lakh at the institute’s campus placement drive. This is a significant event as the candidate is from the second batch of students to pass out from IIM-S this year. Besides being a major accomplishment for Anant, the offer is a milestone for the new IIM.
Hailing from Nanded in Maharashtra 25-year-old Anant has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He has been offered a job by Singapore-based Tolaram Group which deals in consumer goods, digital services, infrastructure and energy.
Expressing thrill at the development, Anant said that he was already anticipating this good news as his interview had gone very well. However, he was not expecting this remuneration.
“Education at IIM Sambalpur was an enligtening experience,” said Anant adding that his journey at the institute was replete with learning opportunities. “It all started with the grooming of my leadership skils at many competitions during the two-year PGP course,” he added. Anant thanked IIM-S for giving him a sense of control, confidence and motivation to succeed in life.
