Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik congratulated Odisha Skill Development Authority Chairman Subroto Bagchi and Chairperson, Mo School programme, Susmita Bagchi, & Radha and NS Parthasarathy for a path breaking philanthropic initiative which was inked on Monday.
The couples will collectively donate Rs 425 crore (equivalent to about USD 60 million) for setting up a Postgraduate Medical School in the campus of Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, along with a multi-speciality hospital.
Naveen said, “Appreciate Mrs Susmita Bagchi, Shri Subroto Bagchi, Mrs Radha Parthasarathy and Shri NS Parthasarathy for joining hands with IISc Bangalore to set up a PG Medical School along with a multi-speciality hospital. May the magnanimous gesture inspire many others towards philanthropy.”
“Mrs & Mr Bagchi have already announced generous contributions to set up a state-of-the-art cancer hospital and a palliative care centre in #Bhubaneswar. Their generosity and voluntary contribution through Mo School and Odisha Skill Development Authority will continue to inspire others,” the CM added.
