IIT Student Dies Under Mysterious Circumstances In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A student of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) died after falling from the floor of a hostel building at the Arugul campus in Bhubaneswar, on Monday.

The deceased, identified as Kritika Raj is a third-year student and she was from Delhi.

On a tip-off, police reached the spot and started an investigation.

The exact cause of death is still unknown, but police suspect that Kritika may have committed suicide. However, the reasons behind her alleged suicide are unclear.

According to sources, Kritika had visited her home 10 days ago and had been quiet and reserved following her return.

Police, meanwhile, seized the body and sent it to the Capital Hospital. Further investigation is underway.
