Bhubaneswar: A team from the Special Task Force (STF) of the Odisha Crime Branch raided an illegal gun manufacturing unit in the Bayalis Mouza area of Cuttack district on Thursday.
Acting on a tip-off, the STF seized over 30 guns and arrested four people during the raid.
The identities of the arrested persons have not been revealed yet.
Preliminary investigations show that the illegal operation had been running for several days, making and supplying guns to different parts of the state.
The raid was still ongoing at the time of the last report.
