Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a weather alert for several districts in Odisha, predicting a light thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain within the next three hours.
Going by the IMD prediction, Sundergarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Khorda (including Bhubaneswar city), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Jagatsinghpur, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal and Dhenkanal will experience light thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain in the next three hours.
The IMD has advised people in these districts to remain vigilant and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes. Residents are advised to follow safety guidelines to ensure their well-being.
