IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall In Odisha Till July 10

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted heavy rainfall over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput, Malkangiri in the next 24 hours under the influence of a cyclonic circulation that lies over East-central Bay of Bengal.

Heavy rainfall activities will continue till July 9, the IMD said.

On July 9, heavy rainfall is expected at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal.

Similarly, districts like Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar are likely to experience heavy downpour on July 10 under the influence of cyclonic circulation.
