Bhubaneswar: North Odisha districts, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal and one or two places in other districts of Odisha are likely to face light to moderate rainfall on Sunday and Monday.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) is very likely to occur at one or two places over Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj,Angul, Dhenkanal, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, and Kandhamal.
There will be no large change in maximum temperature (Day temperature) during next two days. It is likely to rise by 2-3 degrees Celcius thereafter at many places over the districts of Interior Odisha, the IMD stated.
“Bhubaneswar will witness partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower. Maximum and Minimum temperature very likely to be around 40°C and 25°C respectively.”
