Bhubaneswar: As per the midday weather bulletin issued by IMD today (April 4) thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Angul, Nayagarh, Khurda, Ganjam, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Deogarh and Sundargarh from 8.30 am today till 8:30 am Monday.
The IMD has issued a yellow warning in respect of the above districts. Accordingly, the office of the Special Relief Commissioner has alerted these districts to take steps to circulate the warning message among the public.
“The situation may be closely monitored and aci]on as deemed necessary be taken in case of any eventuality. details of the incident, if any, may promptly be reported to the emergency operations centre,” the advisory stated.
