IMD Issues Fog Warning For Odisha Districts; Commuters Advised To Exercise Caution

Bhubaneswar: A fog alert has been issued for several districts in Odisha, including Sundargarh, Kalahandi, and Kandhamal.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur in these areas during the night of November 22, and the morning and night of November 23, as well as the morning of November 24.

Meanwhile, the Special Relief Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary to the government have advised district collectors, police and transport officials in the respective districts to take necessary steps to ensure controlled movement of vehicles on highways during the foggy conditions. This precautionary measure aims to prevent road accidents.

Residents and travellers are advised to exercise caution while commuting during this period.
