Bhubaneswar: The regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here has forecast that heat wave conditions are likely to prevail in some parts of interior Odisha from April 13 to 15.
The IMD further informed that the maximum (day) temperature is also likely to rise by 3°C to 4°C in several parts of the state in the next four days.
It is worth mentioning here that already several parts of the state are reeling under intense heat conditions for the past two days.
Jharsuguda and Baripada recorded a maximum temperature of 40.4°C and 40°C, respectively on Monday. Bhubaneswar recorded a maximum temperature of 39°C on Tuesday by 11:30 am.
