Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that hot weather and heat wave conditions are likely to prevail in some districts of Odisha till Tuesday.
The districts likely to experience heat wave conditions at one or two places till Tuesday are Bargarh, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sonepur, Bolangir, Boudh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.
The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow Warning’ for the aforementioned districts.
The weather agency has said that the maximum temperature is very likely to be above normal by 3-5°Celsius at a few places over the districts of Odisha during the next 4 days. Consequently, hot and discomfort weather is likely during the next 4 days and people are advised to take precautionary measures ( avoid heat exposure, keep cool and avoid dehydration) while going outside during day time between 1100 IST-1500 IST.
The State Emergency Operation Centre at the Office of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has alerted the Collectors of Bargarh, Boudh, Bolangir, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Sonepur and Sundargarh in this regard.

Day-2 to Day-4 (11.06.2023 to 13.06.2023)
