Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued Yellow Warning of thunderstorm with lightning for 11 districts across the State.
As per the midday weather bulletin, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Deogarh, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Khordha, Nayagarh, and Kandhamal today (October 6).
Similar weather condition is to prevail over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, and Ganjam day after tomorrow (October 8).
The IMD has further informed that a Low Pressure Area is very likely to form over north Andaman Sea around 10th of October, 2021.
It is likely to become more marked and move west-northwestwards towards south Odisha & north Coastal Andhra Pradesh coast during subsequent 4-5 days.
