Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for dense fog in several districts of Odisha over the next 24 hours.
According to the midday weather bulletin released by the IMD’s regional center in Bhubaneswar on Friday, dense fog is expected to occur in one or two places in Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, and Khurda districts.
Additionally, shallow to moderate fog is expected during the early morning hours in some areas of these same districts.
On Saturday, dense fog is likely to occur in one or two places in the districts of Ganjam and Nayagarh. Furthermore, shallow to moderate fog is expected in the early morning hours at a few places in these districts, as well as in Puri, Gajapati, Khurda, Kandhamal, and Kalahandi districts.
The IMD has advised residents to be cautious while traveling, as visibility may be significantly reduced during these conditions.
Authorities have urged people to follow safety guidelines and stay updated on weather advisories.
