Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning, predicting dense fog in Sundargarh and Kandhamal districts tomorrow.
Additionally, cold wave conditions are very likely to prevail in isolated pockets over the districts of Sundargarh, Angul and Jharsuguda tomorrow.
According to the IMD forecast for December 11, dense fog is likely to occur at one or two places over the Sundargarh, Kandhamal and Jharsuguda districts.
Besides, cold wave conditions are expected to prevail in isolated pockets over the districts of Jharsuguda, Angul, Sundargarh, Sonepur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Koraput.
The IMD has warned that the cold wave conditions will spread to Jharsuguda, Angul, Sundargarh, Sonepur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Koraput on December 12.
Residents of these districts are advised to be prepared for the cold weather conditions and take necessary precautions to stay warm and safe. The IMD has urged people to be cautious while travelling, especially during early morning hours when visibility may be poor due to dense fog.
