Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and rain are likely to affect parts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Sundargarh districts within the next three hours, according to a nowcast warning issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) at 3:00 PM on Thursday.
The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ warning for these districts.
Additionally, the weather agency has advised residents to stay alert and move to safer locations to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
