Bhubaneswar: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh and Khordha during the next 24 hours.
The weather forecast agency has issued a ‘yellow warning’ for the aforementioned districts.
Similarly, shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh and at one or two places over the districts of Sonepur, Bolangir, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, and Puri during the next 24 hours, the IMD said.
Besides, light rain or thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj while dry weather is likely to prevail over the rest districts of the State, the IMD added.
The IMD has forecast no large change in Minimum temperature (Night temperature) over the districts of
the State during next 5 days . It is likely to be above normal by 2 to 3°C at many places over the districts during the next 5 days.
