Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted dry weather for several districts from December 15 to December 19. However, some districts are likely to experience light rain during this period.
According to the IMD’s midday bulletin, dense fog is expected in one or two places in Kandhamal, while shallow fog is likely to occur in one or two places in Kalahandi district.
On Sunday, dry weather is expected to continue in the districts of Jharsuguda and Sundargarh. Shallow to moderate fog may occur in parts of Kalahandi and Kandhamal.
Similar dry conditions will persist in other districts of Odisha, including Sundargarh and Jharsuguda.
On Monday, dry weather will likely continue across most districts, with shallow fog expected at a few places in Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and surrounding areas.
On Tuesday, light rain is expected at one or two places in Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, and Rayagada, while the rest of Odisha will remain dry.
Similar conditions are expected on Wednesday, with light rain possible in Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Rayagada, Khurda, Nayagarh, Koraput, and Malkangiri, and dry weather in the remaining districts.
For Thursday, light to moderate rain is expected at one or two places in Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, and Kalahandi, while dry weather will continue in the rest of the state.
