IMD Predicts Light To Moderate Rain In Several Odisha Districts In Next 5 Days

Bhubaneswar: The regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday predicted light to moderate rain accompanied by thundershowers and lightning at various places across Odisha for the next five days.

The weather forecast for the next five days is as below:

July 12, 2023: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and at a few places over the remaining districts of Odisha. YELLOW WARNING: (TO BE UPDATED) Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, and Nabarangpur.

July 13, 2023: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Balasore, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Bhadrak, and at a few places over the rest districts of Odisha. YELLOW WARNING: (To BE UPDATED) Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Angul, and Dhenkanal.

July 14, 2023: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Odisha, Nuapada, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, and at a few places over the rest of districts of Odisha. YELLOW WARNING: (To BE UPDATED) Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Angul, Deogarh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Nuapada, Bolangir, and Bargarh.

July 15, 2023: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Odisha. YELLOW WARNING: (TO BE UPDATED) Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Angul, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Boudh, Sonepur, Bargarh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal.

July 16, 2023: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, and at a few places over the rest of districts of Odisha. YELLOW WARNING: (TO BE UPDATED) Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur in one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, and Dhenkanal.
