Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning is likely to affect some parts of the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Nayagarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack (including Cuttack City), Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur and Gajapati within the next three hours, the Regional Meteorological Centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here said in a now cast warning.
Besides, some places in the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur and Gajapati are likely to witness one or two intense spells of rain within the next three hours, the nowcast warning added.
The IMD has advised people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike
The IMD warned of water logging in low-lying areas with occasional poor visibility and traffic disruption in urban areas.
