IMD Predicts Thunderstorms In Five Odisha Districts In Next 3 Hrs

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of impending thunderstorms in several districts of Odisha.

According to the forecast, light to moderate thunderstorms with gusty winds of up to 30-40 kmph, lightning, and light to moderate rain are likely to affect Bargarh, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, and Cuttack districts, including Cuttack city, within the next three hours.

Residents are advised to stay alert and keep a close watch on the weather for worsening conditions. In case of lightning, people are cautioned to seek shelter in safe places to avoid being struck.
