IMD Predicts Thunderstorms In Six Odisha Districts Within Next 3 Hours

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms and lightning to six districts within the next three hours.

According to the nowcast warning issued by the regional weather office at 2: 20 pm, Ganjam, Koraput, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Cuttack and Nayagarh will experience thunderstorms and lightning in the next three hours. These districts have been issued a yellow warning.

Citizens are advised to keep a close watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes. Besides, the weather office has asked residents of these districts take necessary precautions to avoid injury from gusty winds.
