Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, and Koraput on Friday morning.
The weather agency has issued a ‘yellow warning’ for these districts for Friday.
Similarly, shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of South Interior Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, and Bhadrak on Saturday.
Similar conditions are likely to prevail over one or two places in the districts of South Interior Odisha on Sunday.
During all these days weather is likely to remain dry over the State.
However, according to the IMD’s forecast light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Sonepur, Balangir, Nuapada, Kalahandi, and Nabarangpur on Monday.
In the subsequent two days rainfall activity is expected to increase, the IMD added.
