Bhubaneswar: Moderate rainfall/thundershower with one or two spells of intense to heavy rain is very likely to occur in some parts of Nuapada and Bargarh districts within the next three hours, according to a nowcast warning issued by the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) at 10:30 a.m. today.
The weather agency has issued an ‘Orange’ warning for the aforementioned districts. The agency has stated that waterlogging in low-lying areas, occasional poor visibility and traffic disruption in urban areas are likely.
It has also advised people to keep a watch on the weather and act accordingly.
People have been further advised to avoid movement in affected areas and make arrangements for the drainage of excess water.
