IMD Warns Of Rain With Lightning In 6 Odisha Dists

Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain or thundershower with lightning is very likely to affect some parts of Cuttack, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Khordha and Puri districts within the next three hours, according to a nowcast warning issued by the local centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here at 4.15 PM on Monday.

The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ warning advising people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strikes.
