Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an ‘Orange Warning’ indicating thunderstorms with lightning and hail accompanied by gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 KMPH is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Bargarh, and Sundargarh during the next 24 hours.
Besides, the IMD has issued a ‘Yellow Warning’ indicating thunderstorm with lightning accompanied by gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 KMPH is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts Nuapada, Bolangir, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj during the same period.
Further, light to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sundargarh and at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Bolangir, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha during the next 24 hours, the IMD added.
