Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Odisha during the next 24 hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said.
The weather agency has warned that thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Boudh, Nayagarh, Khurda, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nawarangpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jajpur, Balasore, and Bhadrak during the next 24 hours.
The IMD has issued a yellow warning for the aforementioned districts.
Similarly, on Saturday heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, and thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam and Gajapati.
The IMD has issued a yellow alert for these districts.
