Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain/thunderstorm with lightning is likely to affect some parts of districts of Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, and Keonjhargarh within the next three hours, said a nowcast warning issued by the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD’s) Regional Meteorological Centre here at 2.30 PM.
The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for these districts.
The weather forecast agency has advised people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
