Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of thunderstorm with lightning in one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri, and Koraput during the next 24 hours.
The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for these districts.
The IMD has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershower at a few places over the districts of Odisha during the next 24 hours.
Similarly, the IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ warning for Sunday for the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak, and Balasore indicating thunderstorm with lightning at one or two places.
While IMD has issued no warning for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, it has forecast light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Odisha on these days.
