Bhubaneswar: Most parts of the State woke up to incessant rainfall on a weekend morning as heavy spells led to artificial flooding and inconvenience to the public.
According to the IMD report, Odisha recorded an average rainfall of 10.3 mm during the last 24 hours.
The highest rainfall during the last 24 hours was recorded in Puri block (108 mm) while Kujang in Jagatsinghpur district recorded 105 mm.
As per data, the July monthly average is 339.9 mm of rainfall whereas, Odisha has received 98.1 mm of rainfall from July 1 to 15, so far, the IMD stated.
Till 8:30 am on Saturday morning, the rainfall recorded in different places are:
Paradeep: 105mm
Puri: 86.6 mm
Dhenkanal: 70 mm
Nayagarh: 43.1 mm
Kendrapara: 22.4mm
Bhubaneswar: 14.7 mm
Gopalpur: 2.1 mm
Chandbali: 11.9 mm
Balasore: 10.2 mm
