Bhubaneswar: Inclusive development has been the hallmark of my Government, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in a virtual message at the Odisha Nirman Conclave-22 organised by Kanak News in Bhubaneswar on Saturday. Stating that the Conclave is an open platform to generate ideas for inclusive Odisha, he thanked Kanak News for this annual event.
“Since the beginning my Government has always been sensitive to the needs of the poor and disadvantaged section of society. Inclusive development has been the hallmark of my Government. I personnaly believe that Odisha must go forward by taking along all sections of society in its transformation journey,” said Patnaik.
He asserted that Odisha is witnessing a transformation in every sector for the last several years. Food security and disaster management are two milestones in the State’s turnaround story. His government has assured nearly 3/4th of its population with quality healthcare. Through Mission Shakti, the government has successfully unshackled women to experience their socio-economic rights.
“We are building worldclass sports infrastructure, schools, effective healthcare system, and ensuring the proactive governance model through our 5T initiative. Ten years back, did anyone expect Odisha to host World Cup Hockey that too twice in a row. Brick by brick we are building a strong social infrastructure. We have faced all challenges and turned the tide in favour of our people,” said the Chief Minister.
“We are now surging ahead in every sphere of the socio-economic pyramid, in economic growth, in attracting investments, in reversing regional disparity. We are consistent in our actions throughout and we will continue to put our thrust whenever, whereever it calls for. We will not shy away from expecting challenges. In our journey of transformation, we need the support of our people, intelligentsia, media, educationists, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders, all of you,” he added.
