Bhubaneswar: Temple City Bhubaneswar will be connected to Pink City Jaipur and Goa through direct flights soon.
While Indigo Airlines will be operating direct flights to Jaipur from Bhubaneswar thrice a week commencing from 2nd of November, the airline is scheduled to commence daily flights to Goa from 1st of December.
Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has informed Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan about Indigo commencing flights between Bhubaneswar and Jaipur from November 2. Pradhan had written a letter to Scindia requesting for the operation of flight services between Bhubaneswar and Jaipur.
“Indigo Airlines will commence flight services from Bhubaneswar to Jaipur thrice a week from November 2 and from 1st of December it will operate daily flights from Bhubaneswar to Goa,” informed Pravat Ranjan Beuria, Director of Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA).
With Bhubaneswar getting connected to these two important cities, it will surely boost tourism, Beuria added.
