Industries Minister Invites Investors In Singapore To Explore Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Industries Minister Dibya Sankar Mishra while attending the India Singapore Business & Innovation Summit at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention centre in Singapore on Monday urged the investors of the island nation to explore the industry ready state of Odisha.

Organised by High Commission of India in Singapore the event was graced by India's External Affairs Minister S. Jayashankar and Singapore's Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balalkrishnan.

After a plenary talk about investment opportunities in Odisha by Mishra, who is leading the Invest Odisha delegation, MD IPICOL & Special Secretary Industries department Dr. Nitin Jawale, during the Odisha state session in the afternoon, gave a presentation on '10 reasons to Invest in Odisha', which caught the imagination of the corporate present at the event.

A presentation on Gopalpur Industrial Park & SEZ was made by Tata Group representatives Arun Mishra and Prashant Mallik, who also spoke about the support the Odisha Government and IPICOL has rendered them all through.

Among others IOCL's Dhananjay Srivastav and Haldia Petrochemicals' Subhashendu Chatterjee are also part of the Odisha delegation which will also visit Jurong Petrochemical area and some start up incubators in Singapore.
