Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of the International Mother Language Day on Wednesday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday called on all Odia-speaking people to work together towards the creation of good literature in Orissa and its widespread use and propagation.
The Chief Minister wrote on his X handle, “Language is the future. Odia language is the unique identity of our literature, culture, and identity. Among the Indian classical languages, the Odia language is unique. The contribution of our Saraswat sadhaks in protecting our language and keeping its dignity intact is unique.”
“Let us resolve on the International Mother Language Day to work together towards the creation of good literature in Odisha and its widespread use and propagation,” he added.
