Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will hoist the national flag as the chief guest on the upcoming Independence Day. A preparatory meeting, presided by Principal Secretary, Information & Public Relations Department, Sanjay Kumar Singh regarding the format of State Independence Day celebrations on behalf of the I&PR Department
The state-level ceremony will be held at Bhubaneswar Unit-3 Exhibition Ground. Arrangements will be made for live broadcasting of the ceremony. Since Independence Day is a symbol of emotion and pride for all, Singh directed that every aspect of the celebration should be carefully considered.
